Nakamol's Story

Nakamol is a jewelry designer that started with humble beginnings in 2001. She came from Thailand to pursue her Master's Degree. Being on a limited income, she had to survive so she went from store to store with a small box of samples. She began selling jewelry to boutiques in Chicago. With a great response from her clients, her business quickly became larger than what she could handle on her own. She made it a priority to hire primarily people that were less fortunate and who needed jobs to maintain dignity and respect within the Thai community. Nakamol Design has become well known as a place to come for people that need a job. Many friends and family are now employed by Nakamol. Our handcrafted jewelry line has been growing at a tremendous rate and quickly becoming a well recognized brand name in the industry.
Our strength is that we design and produce our own jewelry, so we are able to work on different designs to meet the needs of the customer. We currently hold large accounts in the US as well as large catalog companies in the US.
Also we are in many museums such as the Smithsonian, Art Institute of Chicago, Philadelphia, and more. Recently one of our biggest market is Japan.
We have been getting a lot of press lately as well. You can find us features in magazines such as Brides Magazine, Life & Style, Accessories Magazine, WWD
and German InStyle.
You will find that we are completely unique to the industry and maintain high quality standards with our designs. That is the main reason we have proven success through the years.
Our plans for the future are to expand the line domestically, as well as, internationally. We also plan to expand evenn more our market in Europe with shows in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Munich, Paris, Milan and Copenhagen.
